Honey & Turmeric

I finished my first Multimedia & Communications project -- an ad, in my case for Psych -- last night, and this morning I tweaked it a bit to turn it into a wallpaper. So, y'know, here it is.



I found that there was a severe shortage of nice Psych wallpapers. Actually, there's a severe shortage of Psych wallpapers, period. There are pretty much no nice Psych wallpapers. This makes me sad. Psych needs a bigger fandom.

Scratch that, I don't want a bigger fandom for Psych. I want it all to myself. I stumbled across a discussion of this Friday's upcoming episode the other day and... lord love a duck, I don't understand how anyone could be so anal retentive about a comedy. We're talking the level of flak that CSI gets for being inaccurate... only for Psych. I just... I just don't get it.

I'm sick again and staying in rez instead of going to class, because my university is so alarmist about H1N1 that somebody with my symptoms -- a pretty bad cough, and the tendancy to get feverish and fatigued when I'm not huddled up in bed -- would be kicked out of class. Nevermind that it's the same thing I had last year.
Of course, it's possible that last year I had the flu. Doctor never said exactly what it was.

Anyway, I'm gonna go watch Bones and Glee now.

Heeeey. So I made some wallpapers and banners and stuff, all Alex/Pam. They're not incredibly creative or original but whatever, they're pretty. Textures by sanami276. Apparently I am in huge denial about 4.01, but I think Pam might survive the premiere. I'll admit things don't look good for Cameron, though.

Hey, long time no post. I haven't had internet on my laptop for a while, as I've moved to a new city/town/thingy and, although I do get to upgrade from dial-up to high speed (huzzah!), I doubt that the people originally living in this house used electricity much. I've taken over the lower floor of the house, and I think there may be approx. three electrical plug-ins and no phone jacks. So I get my internet on Monday.
I completely bombed a Biology test today, as I was inexplicably exhausted and I lost my Biology notes a couple of days ago.

 Man, I am on a roll. I found some cool PB portraits on the Sky One website, and made not only a wallpaper -- no, my friends, I also made a friends-only banner. Speaking of, how does one go about posting a friends-only banner that is bigger than the standard preview size? I want to display my new one in all of its glory.

Woah, it's my first post that isn't friends-only. A note to those who aren't my "friends": most of my posts will be friends-only, since I talk about stuff that most people wouldn't care about anyway. If you want to read them, friend me and I may friend you back (and if you don't have an LJ account -- well, that's kind of important. Get one.)
The order of business for today is to post some wallpapers! I found some old Prison Break season II promo pics on PrisonBreakOnline, and made a batch of seven (almost identical) wallpapers featuring Mahone and Michael, since I love the interactions between those two. They're very simple, and it may be obvious that I went crazy with the filters on Photoshop, lol. I'm rather proud of them, anyway.
